Several Homeowners have requested that the Board of directors perform an in depth audit of the books. There is a lot of money that comes and goes and the audit should at least go back 5 years to cover current and past management companies. During the meeting, then president John Weber gave a somewhat angry message that the Board performed such an audit and that it was available to the homeowners on request. Here is his comments on the subject. http://www.CarterRanchHomeowners.com/HOAAudit.wma . As you will hear, Mr. Weber goes into great detail as to what is actually covered in this in depth audit. As a homeowner concerned with how our finances are spent, I requested a copy of this audit.

As you will see when you read this "audit" that it is far from a real "in depth" audit and only covers the year 2014 which was after the previous management company was gone. It is time that we have a REAL AUDIT. Please contact the HOA Board and demand that one be carried out. The board was quick to tell me that an audit would be expensive. Too bad they didn't take that same attitude when they sent lawyers after homeowners for infractions as small as $50 and spent thousands of $$ to try and collect $50.

Article that ran in the Coolidge newspaper after the annual meeting. First meeting I have attended in 11 years that not only had a lawyer but TWO lawyers (in dark suits) were paid by the board to attend the meeting. On top of that, they also hired a BOUNCER (green shirt). Was the board of directors that afraid of the homeowners? Were they so afraid that what they did would invite violence? Maybe it was because we the homeowners sent in a load of ballots for Daniel Pelisser, Tom Van Dan Elzen and Lance Van Horn and all of those ballots were tossed out as "invalid"?? Maybe it was because of how the homeowners have been treated since the adoption of Snow Property Services? Interestingly, the homeowners were angry but extremely civil.
