Any homeowner is now susceptible to a date in Superior Court for the simple violation of a Rule

The Carter Ranch HOA has now set the bar so low that any homeowner who violates a rule will likely get a court summons instead of a $25 fine. In the comment above, the HOA took a homeowner to court for the violation of a Rule instead of levying a simple $25 fine as has been the practice in the past. It worked for the Board but was it worth the expense? We, the homeowners, who entrusted the Board to spend our money wisely spent what could have built at least one if not two new play areas for our teens. I am pretty sure there is no other HOA in the State of Arizona that has ever taken a homeowner to Superior Court for violating a Rule. Our HOA Board is really special in that way.
